Feedback gevenIl Barone has everything I love about dining out in Sicily...food...ambience...staff... and value for money! From the moment you walk in Salvatore (the owner and his lovely wife greet everyone warmly. You can depend on the typically prepared Sicilian seafood to be top quality... to die for... and fresh, fresh, fresh! Believe me, these guys know what they're doing... I never ask for a menu, (come to think of it I don't think I've seen one!! I have been many times, with friends, family, groups, and for functions, and am never disappointed. I suggest a meal of antipastos for a taste sensation! Il Barone is an intimate little restaurant situated underneath the Ficarra's famous Barons Castle, with original vaulted ceilings, crystal chandeliers, and Sicilian artwork. Just sit back... take it all in, and let the staff at Il Barone perform their magic for you.
A prestigious location, good service, do not miss the oil ice cream and almond parfet
Very pleasant restaurant with a fantastic seafood menu. We especially enjoyed the seafood pasta plates which were delicious fresh and beautifully presented. The owner was very friendly and patient with us he had to repeat the menu a few times before we understood must read up on Italian seafood : Highly recommended.
