The Dining Room - Fife

We have frequented The Dining Room four times in the past two months. Our first visit was for lunch, then for an early evening meal, thirdly for a Sunday birthday celebration, and lastly, today, for a meal from the festive menu. All four meals have been absolutely superb. The lunch and early evening menu are the same, but there is a separate Sunday lunch menu, plus, as above, the current festive menu. Rather than go into every detail of every dish, I must say that so far, every single dish that has been ordered has been excellent. Even taking into account varied tastes and ages of guests, there have been zero complaints. Prices are slightly higher than the average Kirkcaldy bar lunch menus, but worth every single penny and more. Just to be able to order and eat something a little different from the usual local fare is an absolute blessing. The quality of the ingredients, and the preparation and presentation, are also streets ahead of what is usually on offer in these parts. Service is attentive, welcoming, and friendly, without being overbearing or obsequious. The owners, and their staff, deserve high praise indeed for creating such an oasis in Kirkcaldy 's culinary desert. We will continue to eat here on a regular basis for as long as we possibly can. Finally, for anyone eating here for the first time, do try the home made scotch egg starter. It 's wonderful!

From start to finish Barry and Andrew couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating for our group of friends! They helped make a special occasion a really memorable one and all our friends were delighted. Thank you also to your team who looked after us so well too. We all left contended with the delicious meals and look forward to similar gatherings in the future.

We had an even better experience during our second visit to The Dining Room. The warm and friendly welcome, delicious food, attentive service, and inviting atmosphere made for another very enjoyable evening. Huge thanks to the team for their hospitality. Fab friendly Resturant to dine in with staff who went above and beyond! Great service and friendly staff who were more than accommodating with Birthday cake and candles they even threw in a complimentary glass of Prosecco for the birthday girl! The food was delicious and they adapted dishes for us as required. Will definitely be back very soon
