Authentic fresh Samoan food and cuisine. Just my lunch a few days ago!! ??? I finally tried Stevens and Sons and it was very good. Everything was really good, but I wish I had ordered more taro with that nice thick and creamy pe’e (coconut cream). This was a $30 meal. I only asked for about 1/3 bowl of Fe’e since I was going to be on the road for a long time. Some people complain about the price but prices have gone up everywhere. A couple of sides is what’s going to drive prices higher. Even when I go to my favorite Hawaiian restaurants, I’ll order a plate lunch and then extra Mac Salad, a drink, maybe some poke and bada boom bada bang it’s at least $30.Lupo Ka not at all! $30.00.I didn’t get a whole bowl of Faiai Fe’e. The price of food is very expensive everywhere. A can of coconut milk is like $3.00 and the price of rice keeps going up. I think when we are used to eating Samoan food for free and especially if you were raised in Samoa where coconuts, taro and fe’e are free, it’s seems crazy to pay so much money. I can’t eat there everyday and so it was a real treat for me. ?????
Food is awesome. The place Is nice. The service needs work but overall the price says a lot about this family. After ordering 4 plates and a couple of sides, the price came out to $271.00. I was shocked and embarrassed. The food was as much as I would order at a Filipino restaurant, which wouldn't be as expensive!! I paid debit without knowing the price smfh. If anyone decides to come here, make sure you asked for the price before you pay. Because they wouldn't (red flag). If it was me working there I would at least reinsure the customers what they're paying for and what the price is. But now I see this establishment is made to scheme the wallets of it's own Polynesian people. This family is Greedy and I hope I paid for your kids college fund because they're going to need to teach you how to run a business.Parking: The location is in a busy intersection.
Well, it's a great little Polynesian already made food store. ? They have a fool course meal if your willing to spend a little more then usual. ? I enjoyed my 2 boiled taros with coconut ? cream. I also got a baked taro and 2 ribs of lamb with the Polynesian style chopsuey. ? I also got some Polynesian desserts ? to go. Thanks Stevens and son for the Sunday lunch!
I went in for the first (and last) time!! I bought a little bit of EVERYTHING off of the menu...it broke the bank, of course, because they are HIGHLY overpriced, but I thought that the food might have been worth it... but unbeknownst to me, it was absolutely HORRIBLE!!! All of the foods had little to no flavor, the lamb mamoe was filled with a mouthful of bones that could have lodged in my throat and killed me on the spot!!! I suggest to save your money and find a decent place that can give you more bang for your buck and tastebuds...this was ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS and what an embarrassment to the Samoan community!!!!Have a nice day, folks and HEED my warning!!!
