Brigadoon Tavern By The Lake

5-stars for the view, 3-stars for the food and decent service gives this place a 4-star review in my book. I came here this past memorial day weekend on Saturday via seaplane what an entrance! thanks to a friend and had a great light lunch on Findley Lake at the Brigadoon Tavern. The menu was fairly simple with soups, salads sandwiches and burgers at least around lunch time. I had the spinach salad $9 with no added protein and thought it was light and delicious, featuring spinach, beets, bacon and goat cheese. The salad was light and flavorful and I'd gladly eat it again. I don't think a small salad is enough to fill up on its own, but I wasn't super hungry so it worked for me. To add chicken or shrimp is an extra $4/5 which would likely make it more filling. My friends had the grilled chicken sandwich and a soup and both seemed satisfied AOK with their meal, but no one was too ecstatic. However, the views and relaxation this place offers by sitting on the patio taking in the views of the boats and the lake on a gorgeous summer day are worth it. There were also a few beer reps walking around offering pours on this Saturday afternoon and they seemed to have a decent beer menu with a lot of local craft beers available. Overall, if you're in the area and looking for a decent lunch or dinner to overlook a beautiful setting, definitely check out Brigadoon.

Extremely slow. Menu is awful. Hamburger was ok but no fries. Wtf?. My wife's taco salad I believe wasn't even lettuce. Waitress was clueless. Manager had no authority to remove or adjust Bill. Maybe stop again for a beer but that's about it.

Nice spot across the street from the lake, nice outside patio when the weather is warm. Good breakfast, bacon could have been a little crispier, great with the coffee refills. Also open for lunch and dinner. Not open every day all year so check the hours.

This is a cute place right along the lake in Findley Lake. Outdoor seating was nice, but the flies and bees were a little frustrating, but obviously not all that controllable. The service was quick, friendly and accurate. Prices were fair for lunch. The artichoke dip and flatbread pizzas were delicious. I'll definitely return here.

Completely disappointing. I recommend going to the restaurant across the street for a much better dining experience (that's where we ended up eating instead). Our food was entirely inedible, and the manager was extremely rude. The quality of the food was appalling, and the management did not address the situation at all. They even embarrassed my husband for taking a few bites of his fish before we decided to send it back. We will never return and strongly advise others to stay away. It was a terrible experience all around. Avoid this place at all costs!
