Aperitif served well accompanied with some pasta or biscuit. Definitely presented well with excellent quality products. The environment is simple, clean and friendly.
When I am passing to Fiorenzuola I always try to give myself a meal at the Cafe dei Mercanti. Their cuisine is always a discovery and together a certainty. It is a place where you find the culinary tradition of the cultivated area with maximum experience, attention, imagination and generosity. The cook is very skilled in the art of inventing and reworking. Sober and precise service. The restaurant welcomes the patrons with a refined table preparation and a relaxing and adequate sound environment to paste even making a talk without difficulty. Wide choice of wines and exposition of excellent handicraft products that you can buy. On the walls you can admire works of painting by contemporary artists. I strongly recommend it: easy to find, in the middle, very close to the two parking lot along the Via Emilia Parmense that cuts in two the town. In the beautiful season you can also sit and paste in the carinissimo dehors. And I add that the reception is warm and discreet at the same time, a true rarity combined with the elegance of the owners.
I found this place through an enoteca search... The restaurant is a simple bar, the staff although friendly and disregarded to the customer and every question seems to live in a world of their own... Nothing to excel on wine and tastes of meats and cheese, however very expensive, three glasses of wine, a sauce of meats and cheese mixed for little more than a person, a pasta with strawberries at the price of 30 euros..... It is true The products proposed were good but in our parts are located at a decidedly lower price, if you want to put these prices then it also serves the local and the appropriate staff... I'm sorry, but I don't recommend it....
Kindness and friendliness make this place a small pearl. Excellent wine cellar. Chef Eugenio and Patty in the hall can make everything pleasant. Interesting the theme nights they make on Saturday.
