We had lunch here while waiting for our VRBO to be ready. My wife has the penne house specialty. It was delicious. I had the fried rabbit. It was just ok. We had tuscan crostini also. It was good. This place seemed very popular with the locales. We did not feel compelled to return.

The best place we have eaten in flourorence. the penne vodka sauce could be the best pasta I had in my life. local restaurant full of italian in a less tourist quarter (so drag her google translator for the menu, instead of complaining, they do not have an English menu.) really good prices and super nice waiters. quite loud community tables. I recommend getting a lunch. but seriously they don't hesitate and go. I have made a photo of my blank plate to show how much I liked it!

The restaurant was recommended by our air bnb host and we really appreciate the meal there ! The restaurant atmosphere was very cozy and food is well done. We order spaghetti with (loaded !! of porcini mushroom and penne alla bettola which is really gooooood, perhaps the best we have in florence. Hope to visit again !

Went for dinner the other night and had a great experience overall! The penne is a must! They have cheap house wine and the staff was very friendly! The only negative would be that they brought our check out before we were done and rushed us out a bit so they could have the table, but I’d still go back!
