Feedback gevenHeaven for coffee connoisseurs, plain and simple. Its not a restaurant, its an artisan cafe that specialises in their own blends of coffee that they roast themselves. Its a locals favourite away from the tourist trail thankfully. The baristas speak English and are friendly. Its a very old company apparently, just try their coffee and you will compare anything else you try elsewhere less favourably against it! Not only is their coffee amazing, rich, deep and strong but they have also embraced the more recent trends in the coffee world and offer flat whites and V60 filter. This is very rare still in Florence, and the flat white I had was better than any other ever tried..by miles..they sell their own beans or ground coffee and I strongly recommend that you take some home! The hot lunches looked sublime. Only downside is the incredibly uncomfortable metal seats, but you won't notice once you start sipping away or demolishing the beautiful smelling food at lunchtime..
Friendly service. Good beer and white wine. Sandwich and pastry choices looked good but we didn’t try.
If you find yourself on Via Gioberti, past piazza Beccaria and in want of a nice coffee and bite to eat, consider visiting Caffetteria Piansa. With great coffee, delicious snacks, treats and light meals, all served with a smile, you'll feel relaxed when you do!
A special coffee if you go to napoli you have to taste their fabulous coffee
