L'imperatore - Firenze

Looked promising to begin with, however upon entering and ordering with terrible service we were let down by our food. Carbonara was undercooked and lasagna tasted like it was microwaved. Our “sausage” pizza was cooked okay but with only 5 pieces of actual sausage on the whole thing. Barely a sausage pizza!!!!! If you are in Florence there are 100 more eateries I would go to before visiting this place.

Fresh salad! Crispy wonderful! Bruschetta mozzarella was so yummy on crusty bread! My husband had pizza enjoyed it! Very good!

After a long trip to Tuscany region, my African American female friend and I searched for restaurant to eat. From the menu and people sitting outside of the restaurant it looked like it would be a good choice. We were seated and watched a waitress bus tables and set tables but not take our order or check on us. It appeared that only one person took orders but we saw other employees handing out menus and serving tables. The staff was inattentive and unfriendly. The wait to take out order was so long. When the waiter finally came to our table he was very nonchalant about the long wait. After the long wait to be served and getting water, ice and even a soda the food was not good, appetizing or worth the wait and price. I ordered the Penne with crab (which was nonexistent). The worst service and food, I do not recommend. One would hate to think service here is based on nationality, gender, status or race. This restaurant was an unpleasant experience on my travels of Italy.

Buena opción si quieres probar el bistec a la forentina sin dejar un ojo en la cara. tienen la opción del bistec con pate asado a euros: la carne era muy buena y en su punto.
