Gasthaus Zum Goldenen Kreuz

We stopped here by chance looking for a restaurant near our holiday. the large parts (see photos). very nice staff (do not speak English, but they somehow understand). they have a menu in English. eat very delicious. we asked for a certain...dessert that was not in the menu, we could not understand in German the answer, so, very nice touch, she brought us the Dessert-Tgey suggested free only to try it. I'll come here anytime. prices are fair, we paid 76 eur for 4 people very good eating.

It will find more and more difficult, very good yet affordable restaurants that still serve high-quality traditional Austrian cuisine. I don't speak of a huge schniz'l with pommes frites. I speak of homemade bark soup with leberknödel, local trout or carp, pork roast with fresh...made late zle, good selection of regional weeping and sweet tasty desert. it is worth finding her way to fishaming, outside of the meadow to lunch or dinner. even better, sitting outside under one of the big trees in the summer and enjoy their meal with a beautiful beer. You can pretend you're in the rest. service is very good here and the prices are low. the best offer is the daily special. Monday and Tuesday closed.

Der Salat ist der beste Salat in ganz Niederösterreich. Allgemein ist das Essen wirklich super! EDIT: Die Lammkeule war einfach nur der Hammer! Super lecker. Bisher war immer alles sehr lecker

Wir haben zwar lange auf das Essen warten müssen aber es ist sehr gut gewesen. Die Portion ist groß und der Preis günstig.
