A fantastic, pet-friendly spot for dinner or a drink. The staff behind the bar are incredibly helpful, catering to both tourists and locals who are passionate about the latest craft beers. The lovely garden and delicious food make for a great experience. I recommend making a reservation if you plan to dine, although there are often tables available even when food is being served. They also have live music during festivals, and the atmosphere is always vibrant and full of interesting people.

I had a wonderful Sunday dinner at this restaurant. I enjoyed a selection of three roasts accompanied by seven vegetables, and the dessert was excellent as well. Everything was well-prepared. They have a pizza night on Fridays and serve Sunday roast from 12:30 to 4:30. The interior is pleasant, with shared areas that create a cozy atmosphere for different groups of people. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We brought our dogs and sat in the small beer garden at the back, although they would have been welcome inside. Just a note: it's a good idea to call ahead and make a reservation for Sunday afternoons.

We had a fantastic roast here on Sunday. The crust was perfectly cooked. I was a bit disappointed when it came with a large serving of bratkartoffel, but after finishing all the other vegetables, including the mashed potatoes that accompanied the dish, I was completely stuffed. Nonetheless, there’s always room for dessert, which was also delicious.

Had a delicious home made frying followed by pudding. my friend needs milk free diets that they have provided and jean brian and stuart could not be more helpful. excellent service

For well kept real ale from the barrel and friendly landlord you can't get much better. Hidden from view it is just a few yards east of the square on the A487. An excellent unpretentious locals pub worth seeking out for those who appreciate good beer.
