In a short weekend trip, we opted to go back here for dinner on our second night because we wanted to try all the things. Night 1 (bear in mind their menu changes often): Meatball appetizer, French onion soup, and the Yucatan chicken. We wanted to try the meat pie, but they were out. It's an all scratch kitchen and a small operation, so while we were disappointed, we weren't annoyed. We shared everything plus two cocktails, a French Boulavadier and a rum cocktail. Normally we don't order chicken entrees, because let's face it, they tend to be basic and boring. But for whatever reason, here we were intrigued. Everything was fantastic, wouldn't make a change to a single thing! We ordered the perfect amount of food. Night 2: We decided we REALLY wanted to try the meat pie after having such a great experience on the night before, so we went in again. We shared that, plus the gouda and spinach gratin dip and the green chili pork stew. Again, everything was fantastic and needes no adjustments at all. If I had to pick a favorite dish it would either the French onion soup or the dip such simple dishes, but done exceptionally well! We also had the apple strudel dessert, and unsurprisingly, it was easily one of the best desserts I've ever eaten. On the second night, we were seated in the little back semi private room. After a time, a large group came in and we were pleasantly surprised to find out later it was the owners, Johnny and Lisa, and their family from out of town. Toward the end of our meal, Johnny came over and told us all about the restaurant and the motel they own onsite. We always love to meet the owners so that was a nice treat! Other notes: service is fantastic, and they have an eclectic but VERY impressive bar menu. The draft menu includes some incredibly hard to find beers, and the cocktails include unusual ingredients from around the world. I could see pricing being a bit high for a college town, but for anyone visiting from out of town, you won't even bat an eye. Go here!
Superb service and a splendid setting. This restaurant is cozy and the owners take special care to ensure that everyone is being served and cared for. The food is great and surprisingly inexpensive, I highly recommend the sangria.
The Nomads Global Lounge has the best food, atmosphere and friendly staff in all of Flagstaff! Right when I walked in the door I felt like I was in the comfort of a warm home with friends. The two owners John and Lisa are the nicest people and truly went the extra mile to create a warm and cozy ambiance. There are so many fine details to marvel at, from the Egyptian door knobs to the one of a kind stone light fixtures. But what I am really here to rave about is the unique and mouth watering menu! We had the Smoky Gouda cheese spinach dip, the Hara Bhara salmon cakes and lavender creme brulee it all was delicious!!! I would highly recommend Nomads Global Lounge and I will definitely be back from more!
Food is amazing. Try anything here it’s great. It’s small and cozy place that doesn’t feel like a restaurant. You can have a drink at the bar, a table or enjoy your food on a couch by the fire. I recommend sharing a smorgasbord with a friend and try a few tastes. It includes to entries, 2 sides and desert. Food is moderately priced. The meat pie and elote where yummy.
