Jo's Malasadas Cafe And Bakery

This was a telephone order, so I can't say anything about the instore experience. Everyone has seen or heard of Squid Game. My six year old grandson is OBSESSED, even though hes not allowed to watch it, he's seen YouTube snippets. For his birthday my daughter found this place and we ordered him Dolganas, or Honeycomb! Although we didn't get a big selection of all the designs it wasn't a problem. The look on his face when he realized..... it was amazing! I called to order, and it was super simple. They told me they had changed the recipe so it would taste better, and I don't know what it tasted like before but it's great now! Almost like Peanut Brittle, only no peanuts, and a richer, more of a dense taste. They went out of their way to make sure I knew what kind of needle, to avoid disappointment. I got confused and called to say I would pick them up the next day, when it was two days away, and they were even willing to put a rush on it midday until I figured out my goof! So, I picked them up, and the usual shapes were there with a special birthday one! It's so pretty we haven't eaten it yet! I'll be going in to check out the instore experience, and willing to bet it's great. I'll meanwhile, how in the world do I top this next year?

If your looking for an over the top donut, look no further. A malasada is a fried dough similar to a donut. But here they fill them with the most delicious exotic flavors. I ordered a total of 3. One guava, one passion fruit and, a regular vanilla cream. And I have to say that I was so impressed with not only how alot on the flavors were but, the freshness made them over the top. Very friendly helpful staff and overall a great experience I will be back.

1st of all i want to say thank you to TJ he is very friendly we had a great conversation. The place is very clean and organized. Location is good lots of parking. The donuts ? amazing very will balanced not too sweet. All the exotic flavors are amazing not overpowering. I highly recommend Jo Malasadas. Make sure you bring a big coffee to go with it!!... amazing 5 stars!!!

Hawaiian Donuts are delicious. Mouth watering Malasadas ? Aw yes please! Find them here. First and foremost I would like to thank Daniela who was so nice, she walked me through every item in detail. So first timers don't be afraid, you're in good hands. You will find a variety of Hawaiian deserts to chose from. I felt like I was at the Disney's beauty and the beast dinner movie scene. Try the Ube cookies they are delicious. If you know what I mean. Did I mention they have so many different fillings to chose from? I tried the crème brûlée and the coconut, gave me an instant food coma with a smile. I'll have to come back for the beef empanadas and maybe a cheesecake. I'm sure to find something new each time. Hands down delicious! I'm from Hawaii and miss our Malasadas back home, and this was the closest to home by far. We purchased the hazelnut, ube, strawberries and and the custard and they were all delicious. The malasadas itself was so fresh, and soft inside. A lot of places I tried, their bread was dry and/or completely over cooked. The workers were also kind, made our order in a timely manner and provided great customer service. I will be coming back and will be recommending to my friends and family. We did have a hard time finding the place, but eventually saw the shop.
