Upon entering, you'll notice a relaxed atmosphere where you can choose your own table. After settling in, you head to the counter to place your order. While some of the staff members, who were still in training, weren't fully informed about vegan options, the experience became much smoother once I spoke with their friendly manager. I ordered the fried tofu with sweet and spicy sauce, which was quite flavorful. It had a thicker batter than I'm accustomed to for fried tofu, but I actually enjoyed this refreshing twist. Additionally, their red curry dishes and everything else I tried (all vegan) were bursting with flavor and enjoyable.

I ordered tom kha soup with sweet, fresh vegetarian rolls and substituted the chili sauce for peanut sauce due to the fish oil. I wish I had also asked for added tofu, which was my intention. I got the crumble tofu with chili sauce, and finally, I ordered a Thai tea with coconut milk instead of regular milk.

This is actually a very vegan-friendly restaurant based on my experience. We’ve dined here several times, and the food is always excellent! Each dish comes with the option of tofu for protein, which I believe is dusted in rice flour and lightly roasted. However it's prepared, it turns out easy and fluffy rather than the dense and chewy texture that is common with most tofu dishes dressed in Asian sauces. They also swapped out a delicious chili sauce for dipping the fresh veggie rolls, as the regular dipping sauce contains fish sauce, and they did this without us even having to ask.

That was our second time in Boon Choo. The first time the food was amazing and we could not expect to come back, but tonight we had no great experience. My husband's order should not have mushrooms, but he had mushrooms. He didn't pick her up. My meal should be the lowest spice level (as much as possible) but it was much spicier than last time. I just couldn't enjoy it so spicy, so we took it up and told them. Instead of making a fresh dish, they added coconut milk and then brought my same bowl a few minutes later. It was good lukewarm and no less sharp. We spent $20 and left a good tip at the order, but they could not be harassed to remake a meal for us. Really disappointing. I know you better work in restaurants. I would have been so happy if my meal was made fresh as I asked. The food is good, but the service really needs some work.

Great food and service. I had the drunks noodles with chicken and they were delicious! I ordered the Hungry share instead of the really Hungry share, and it was a lot of food. I came to lunch during a little rush, and there was a short waiting time for my food. But waiting was really reasonable. All employees were very friendly and appealing. I'd go back there!
