The dotta galla hotel, also known as the dout, is an old art pub that serves good beer and good food. the personal is friendly and the decorations make them feel like home. I was here several times and I always enjoyed it. the experience, it is a comfortable place. it is a busy place on the rennntagens in flemington.
I was at the dout last night, if they haven't booked, they can guarantee that they won't get a seat and they will be treated like scum to not book. I saw that several people were rejected by the new malicious manager. he doesn't seem. to understand the iconic history of the pub, let alone the fabric and fiber of the rich Flemington community. sydney. he seems to be frustrated from unknown ground. I can only imagine that the revolt must bear the waiter and cook daily. it is a pity because the steaks are really very nice, but the way they are delivered to their table through management does something to him by questioning in their head about whether they choose the right place. I was at the end of the night there and saw an open amusing scene where a hunter tried to order the impossible to order a beer 15 minutes before closing. he was so livid that he was obviously forced to close the management time to film. it was unnecessary to say that everyone had gone out with minimal note. do not understand that the reason why they go to the pubs is to enjoy not being considered as a money-cash kuh / magic pudding that have accused as previous reviewers have charged exorbitant fees? also remember to be locked up because they conveniently charge them for using their card above the counter (there is a good atm above the road for which they do not cause fees). great eating, nice waiter, but zero charisma through management. a lot of luck that the personal makes it hard. but next time I'll go somewhere else.
This is a very large pub near newmarket train station. they had a good choice of beer and eating was very delicious. the staff was very friendly and helpful. there were live music that played on one of our trips (especially well). the pub. is like a classic British pub.
As my best friend and I have both lost our Dad's we decided to take our Mum's for Fathers Day Lunch. I hadn't eaten here in 20 years so was a bit skeptical, well wasn't I more than pleasantly surprised. The food was fabulous and...the staff are great. Good atmosphere and they had a guy singing who was a great singer but had a sense of humor as well. Will enjoy it better when there aren't as many kids running around, but will definitely have a next time and will not be waiting 20 years.
