Sakura Japanese- Seafood-Sushi Bar

Everything was mediocre. I had the steak and chicken teriyaki and it was incredibly dry. I had to get a bowl of teriyaki just for it to be edible. The zucchini was really undercooked and hard. The rice did not have good flavor and the peas in it looked like they had been sitting out for a long time. Our sushi rolls were mostly lettuce so that was a disappointment. Only getting three stars at all bc our server (I think her name was Larissa) was PHENOMENAL and the only great thing about our dinner. Also the booths really need to be redone bc they are split horribly.

Ordered ribeye medium rare and I got well done. Inside looked just like the outside with zero pink. Service was subpar as the sever did not check in with me to see how it was or if I needed anything else. I use to come here regularly years ago and stopped because they over cook the steak. Clearly not much has changed.

Today, my taste buds were treated to such superb sushi! I 'm a newbie when I comes to sushi, the young lady who took my 2Go order was so patient with me. Exactly what I wanted-I received and I couldn 't be more pleased! In the most famous words of Arnold...? 'I 'll be back! '

If you love Sushi then this is the restaurant for Sushi! Try the Big Nasty at Sakura in Florence, SC! You will thank me ! Best Sushi ever!

Had the Hawaiian roll, miso soup, and edamame- all were fantastic! Wish the miso soup had tofu in it but it was still very good. Friend had big nasty roll, which was hot and delicious, and the shrimp bowl, which I didn't taste but was told it was tasty. Service was great!
