Feedback gevenI ordered the Kerwin Frost Big Box at the self-service kiosk inside the restaurant. When the employee called out my order, it was in a bag instead of the box I had requested. I mentioned that I had ordered the box, and she informed me that they were out of boxes. I checked the bag and noticed that the figurine was missing. I asked if they were also out of the figurines, and she confirmed that they were out of both. There was no apology or offer of a price adjustment. Despite this, the food arrived quickly and was served hot, which was a positive aspect of the experience.
No one takes your order anymore. I sat there for 5 minutes and received no response. The car in front of me got frustrated and also left.
I have never had a bad experience at this McDonald's. The staff is always friendly and the food is almost always fresh and delicious.
Keep orders to a minimum. Large orders will never be correct. But even if you order 1 food item, you will be pulled from the drive thru to wait. You'll then sit there till all orders are ready to be ran out to the cars and then they'll be passed out. Moving forward I will not be pulling from the drive thru if I have ordered 1 item. It happens every visit.
We are constantly disappointed by fast food restaurants. It is unlikely that a worker would cut corners on their own, without pressure from management to save money by skimping on portions during order fulfillment. I experienced this tonight. Anyone with experience in the fast food industry knows that upselling is where the profits are made, so cutting corners on portions only decreases the bottom line.
