Ricatoni's Italian Grill - Florence

The stupid commercial is enough to make me never want to check this place out

I got the lasagna. Their entrees do not come with any salad, but it does come with bread. I was served quickly but it was not hot. The portion size was average. I was never asked if everything was OK until I was almost done. And honestly, if I wasn't so hungry I would have not eaten it. I had heard this was a good place to eat but it was bad enough I probably won't be back. I went at 1330 on a Thursday so it wasn't super busy in the restaurant. Parking: It is in the old downtown section of Florence so it is angled street parking with a meter. $0.25 for a half hour.

Wonderful, well prepared, and presented Italian dishes. Many menu choices, including vegan selections. The hot homemade bread with herbed olive oil is a spectacular feature. Service is excellent--fast, courteous, professional. Nice casual atmosphere.

Had Lasagna with added cheese cap ? and spaghetti with meatballs ? they both were absolutely amazing! Love their bread and spices with olive oil to dip bread .
