Feedback gevenI always stay at Marriott this stay was vey disappointing. Checked in on a Sunday the girl young girl was very rude. Get to my room air isn’t working wait a little while to see if it does cool down no it doesn’t turned the thermostat to 65 remained on 74 maintenance comes up he was extremely ignorant said give it time I gave it over an hour no change. Went out came back 4 hours later no change. Nice young man working moved me to another room had to change rooms move everything to another floor new room TV doesn’t work! Called the desk the next morning she said everyone is having problems with the TV they are coming from the company to look at it. Come back from work that day still no TV, day 2 no TV! Nice young man comes up wiggles wires it can on went back off! He was the only one working I said don’t worry about I’ll call maintenance in the morning. Day 3 maintenance comes up wiggles some wires looks at me like I’m stupid again very ignorant says it is the wire! Ohhhh ok because apparently I know that??? Housekeeping skipped over me for 4 days called the front desk oh it’s not time for your room to be done…. Yes every 2 days!!! Fresh towels garbage emptied…. Breakfast was awful don’t even bother going to that!! Pool always had a million ppl in it super small! This was by far the worst experience I have ever had from Marriott!!! Never again!
I would rate the room at a 3.5, but the execution of a room at a 1. Our flight was delayed so instead of getting in at 11:30p, we actually got to the hotel at 1:30a. While of course this flight delay was NO fault of the hotel, it was disappointing that they gave our room away... so we were left with a king bed and couch for 4 people. We had reserved a room for 4 people, but I was told that they were sold out... and I 'm not sure what happened. I felt like I was in the Seinfeld episode saying you know how to take the reservation, but you don 't know how to keep the reservation . I expected a sorry or something, but only got a we are sold out . Breakfast was solid and the transportation to/from the airport was good.
This newly built hotel by Turfway's horse race track was amazing. There's plenty of room for a family of 4, traveling on a budget. Weekend breakfast is served til 10:00 am. The indoor pool is open til 10:00 pm, and was perfect for the little ones to get some energy out before bed.My little ones wanted a snack, but all they had available was convenience store chips, candy and frozen meals that could be cooked it the microwaves. Staff at the front desk went to the kitchen to get us some fresh oranges and apples that they set up at breakfast. The front desk staff was so nice!!
Our first time here. The room was clean. No bugs. The front desk clerk on the night checked in was awesome. After 3 reminders, housekeeping finally showed up, however they sent someone who couldn't speak English which is odd because someone who could speak English was literally a 10 feet away! Overall, good experience. There is a rule that nobody could enter the pool area alone. ..ok.... It was usually extremely full and chaotic. Not many choices on breakfast. Still, I would stay here again.
I love the hotel but I don’t like that room service is every other day, so we never got fresh towels during our visit or a made up towels, you can ask for fresh towels at the front deskNearby activities: Good central location too many restaurants and large scale stores such as Target and other amenities
