Stadium Sports Grill - Florence

I had the most delicious salad for lunch here. It came with grilled chicken, and I also ordered salmon on it., and substituted ranch dressing. It was plentiful. My friend got the Cobb salad and he said the same. Helpfully, cheery staff. A very nice experience.

Hostess was slow, and after keeping many waiting at the front desk for ages she finally showed up. I told her I wanted to sit at the bar, and said go ahead and seat yourself. There was a sign saying Wait to be seated...wish I had known. Ordered a glass of wine and a bowl of potato soup. When wine came, I had to flag down server to show here there was lipstick on my glass. She apologized, and brought me a fresh glass pointing out she replaced wine as well. Sigh. Soup was very good...chucks of potato, bacon and cheese. Served with crackers. Wine pour was generous. And they poured it in a to go cup so I could carry it on the boat after I finished my soup. Cost was in the $20 range. Had lunch there the next day and while service was generally good they served my son 's Philly Cheese steak with peppers, which he had asked them to leave off. She brought him a new one, right about the time I finished eating. Bottom line...food is good and reasonably priced. Service is iffy. But during the week this and a coffee shop are your only options. Unless you want to drive somewhere else. I would keep my expectations in check and eat here.

MICE, yes rodents and many of them! We have had to patronize Stadium several times and four times have seen them or other people eating at the same time, have seen them during the visit. We have notified Management, even the Hotel Management, have sent an email to Boyds and nothing. The last time, the bartender even admitted that another employee had taken video of the mice, shown management and nothing. It would be foolish to think they are only on the Stadium side, as 19 shares the same kitchen. Do NOT recommend unless you like furry critters running underneath your feet while eating.

This place needs to work on their customer service skills. No greeting from the hostess, just a snarky how many? And then walks back assuming people know to follow. Then we were seated and it took about 15 minutes to finally get some service. Food wasn 't anything special, but want bad either.
