Hendel's - Florissant

This was my first time visiting Hendel 's Cafe. Let me begin by giving Erin, my waitress a shout out! Upon my arrival she was very attentive and pleasant throughout my dining experience. Furthermore, when other guests came she remained on her A-game! Thank you Erin for giving me a pleasurable experience! As far as my meal, I ordered stuffed mushrooms for my appetizer. They were stuffed crab meat and cream cheese. yummy, yummy! Next, I ordered a turkey club and side salad for my main course. My sandwich was stacked so high, I could only eat half. My salad

Chose the Chicken Power Bowl. Delicious flavor and generous portion. Arrive early for dinner (by 5 pm) or prior to arriving, call ahead to place your name on the list. Excellent staff, from host to server.

I've lived in Florissant mainly all of my life. This was my first time there (last night, 6/11/22) and it didn't disappoint whatsoever! Amazing food and atmosphere, nice waiter and good service! My server was Zach, and my friend and I both had Cajun Carbonara, spinach artichoke dip, and I had a Peach Sangria. I'm going back this week!

So this is my Very 1st Five Star review. This is a very hidden gem in Old Town Florissant. I've lives in north county over 20 years and never knew this place was here. They have so many peacefully romantic seating areas. Its amazing you can even sit on the patio and chill by a fire place. The service was awesome we had a waitress but she also had a little team of people grabbing empty plates and checking on our drinks and service. The food was out of this world. I chose a healthier option with the Salmon Power Bowl. My wife wanted to try the Turkey Sandwich and French Onion Soup. It was bith of our 1st times tasting that soup. Everything they brought out to us from the Spinach Artichoke Dip to the Entrees was perfect. Neither of us had a issue or complaint. I loved my visit and will be back soon.

Our first fine here was great. We joined the waiting list so we were seated as soon as we arrive. To Mac and cheese bites were amazing the ranch was top tier. For our entrees we got the chicken Philly and the burger. The side salad with the house dressing has so much flavor in the dressing. It would have been nice to have cheese and croutons. The chicken Philly had a great sauce and nice buttery bun but the chicken didn’t taste like anything. It has no flavor. The buyer was so good. Perfect size and great potato wedges that paid well with the ranch. The CBD drink was like any other seltzer drink that tastes like a watered down soda but the ginger one had more flavor to it. I’m glad this place is in north county the staff was so nice and friendly and very quick with the food on a Saturday afternoon
