Captain Hooks Fish And Chicken

Completely disappointing! I really wanted to give them another shot, but the food was just terrible. The fish was unappetizing, and the loaded fries had ground beef that tasted like it was prepackaged (I should have seen that coming). I should have gone with what I know and liked.

Really good deals. Food is good hot. Seasoning on point (I don't put mild sauce or hot sauce on fish nor chicken) I just spent $20 on dessert.

When I asked if I was being refused service, they said they would take my order, but upon ordering the gyros special, I was told it had already been put away. They offered me precooked chicken or fish instead, which was just sitting in the fryer. This felt like a classic bait and switch. I decided not to order anything and I won’t be going back. The staff mentioned that they only work there and follow the owner's directives, which speaks volumes about the establishment. I then went to Red Snapper in Matteson, where they were eager to take my order and offered me a comparable special. Three employees thanked me for my business as I left. I can't help but wonder if the owner instructed them to treat customers so well.

I ordered CATFISH FILET and they gave me SWAI BASA. If you can't afford CATFISH, then stop FALSE ADVERTISING

Captain Hook's Of Flossmoor has some of the best chicken I've ever tasted before in my life. They prepare their chicken so that it's crispy and full of flavor without making it greasy or salty. Portion sizes are generous and prices very reasonable. This continues to be my favorite spot for chicken hands down...keep up the good work!
