I gave him my phone to show the reservation, but he didn't know what to do, that was a bit frustrating when I wanted to get my points for eating there. hopefully the owner will train the personal so that this does not happen again.
Today I have placed my first order with ista by doordash. dd has approx. 12% markup, plus shipping costs, service fee and driver tip. if they can collect personally, isas web page gives them the right prices. the prices are reasonable. first was $7 palak chat, a appetizer. it came in a pint size container, and is medium sized and large spinat leaves, rolled in kichererbsen flour, then flash fried. it is not super oily, and it is not super wild. even from the delivery it was still sharp. it has only a little spicy, and a little salt in it. that is a new favorit. the portion size is good for 2 people. next it was $2.00 naan, if they don't know what's naan, they think of a fresh puffy tortilla. it is less dense than a pita, and less fat than a flour tortilla. it is about 8' diameter, half cut, packed in foil. you tear and dip it in sauces that they offer (mint chutney, bbq sauce, and some creamy sauce that might have been ranch, I skipped it and used it to pick up some of my entree. Last was a $13 saag paneer. saag means greens. sometimes it is just spinat (aka palak) and sometimes it is savoury or other things. the greens are a pure, thick as gravy, with a buttery taste (because it contains butter) paneer means cheese, but it is not like the blocks of the colored cheddar. this is fresh and has texture and taste more like ricotta. it is dry and cut into small, bite-sized cubes. for my order I have a quarter of it, plus styropor sandwich container by jasmin reis. the taste was excellent, and everything I was hoping for. the amount of the wiper was directly at the edge. sometimes I like an extra wiper. I didn't think about it, and I'm not sad, but I could ask for extra next time. the portion size is good for three portions. I'm a big, gluttonian guy, and I put a third of it in the refrigerator. this meal was great. I missed that. I'm fat and happy. I think I have to take my family to immerse, but I always forget that they exist, unless I pass for another purpose. Online order helps me remember.
I have organized a party in my house for 90 people. I was little nervous because the guest list was more than 90. I spoke with the restaurant owner sunny' and mentioned him that the guest list was more than 90 people and I needed a quality service and good food so everyone is impressed. he said I shouldn't worry about it and asked myself to focus on other arrangements, except food and quality services. Finally on the partytag sunny and his crew in my house appeared at least 3-4 hours before live cabin, various types of food and their catering people. I was impressed that the young have worked during the party. at the end of the party there was no more eating. all my friends began to appreciate the taste of live cabab, mutton curry, Samosa chat etc. even the children eat without complaining about eating, especially the living kabababs. do not miss their live cabin, samosa chat as an appetizer. for me, that was the best in all dallas metroplex. I will rate this restaurant as 5 out of 5. I'm in dallas for so long and never sunny has disappointed me.
Decent midday buffet spread, noodles were really good, loved their lahori fish and tandoori huhn, good value, recommend this for lunch buffet
I went with my wife after ista. it was a past since we were last there, but I never enjoyed eating. since Sunday it was a buffet. apparently the buffet was wonderful under new property. the food was well seasoned, fresh and very tasty. the lammkabob was not expected, but well appreciated. we will be back.
