This was so disappointing. We were looking forward to visiting the Museum of the Flat Earth, as Fogo is supposed to be one of the four corners of the Flat earth. We were on the island for two days at the end of June, a Sunday and Monday. The little sign in the window of the door indicates that they are closed Sunday and Monday, except during the summer. June 26-27 would not appear to be in the summer. I would have thought the tourist season in Newfoundland was rather short and one would want to maximize their business opportunities.
The Creperie du Marche is conveniently situated near the Carrés of Versailles, where the Farmer's Market is held on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
Fantastic! I will definitely return when I am in Versailles. Visited around lunchtime after exploring the gardens of Versailles.
Wanted lunch but was told the guy that made the soup retired a year ago. Now is a bakery - Bare Buns. The scones and cranberry bar were tasty. Also museum was closed are proprietors were on holiday.
