Excellent. Service was warm and friendly. Food was great, with menus created daily depending on quality availability of produce. Decent wine list. Easy to park right outside. Prices can look high, but it's wonderful value for money. Will be back.
Went to Pintxos by chance as it was near to the hotel we stayed at the harbour in Folkestone. Very busy restaurant and booking is recommended. It's Basque dishes and the food was delicious. Would definitely eat there again.
Incredible food, wine and service. We'd visited Pick Up Pintxos on the Harbour Arm several times and were surprised to read some mixed reviews, particularly Grace Dent's one in The Guardian, which struck me as a bit unkind. I'm pleased to report that Pick Up Pintxos in its new location is on fine form! The service was impeccable friendly, attentive and relaxed. Excellent wines and I love an Alhambra beer. The croquettes, black pudding, salt cod fritters and scallops were just as I remembered stunning! The restaurant has a really nice open feel to it and is definitely a star of Folkestone's booming food scene. I can't wait to come back!
The experience was fantastic. The food was on a different level compared to everything we've had at restaurants recently. The starters were incredible, and we didn't mind the wait since they were made fresh—Steve from the front of the house kept us informed about it. The main courses matched that high quality and taste, all cooked to perfection. The Basque cheesecake for dessert was outstanding, and Steve was very attentive throughout our meal. While it’s not cheap, the quality makes it absolutely worth the price. Thank you to everyone; we will definitely be back!
