Vinh Ha Long is a hidden treasure in Footscray and definitely deserves more recognition for its authentic and delicious Vietnamese food. The thick rice noodle soup, rice vermicelli w/ grilled pork, and broken rice w/ grilled pork must be our favourites from this restaurant! <br/ <br/ The staff are always so friendly and accommodating whenever we visit the restaurant, which makes it even easier for us to keep wanting to come back every week!

If you work or live in the area, you must try this place. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Don't miss out on the broken rice and beef pho - the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend it.

The service was prompt (on a Thursday evening), the staff were friendly, and the food was excellent! There were two vegetarians and one meat eater in our group. My vegetarian friend and I shared the salt and pepper tofu (which was delicious and had the perfect texture) and spinach and beancurd with garlic sauce (also delicious). The two dishes complemented each other well. I can't recall the meat dish, but the meat eater also enjoyed it!
