Lovely food all made to order so it means a wait but so worth it. Manager has a quirky sense of humour which went down well. Would recommend the knicker bocker glory. Fabulous. The Augustus John is dog friendly.

Great food! I mean, seriously great food. Lovely, cosy ambience and excellent service. This place is an off the beaten track gem and I highly recommend a visit.

We have just had an on spec meal in this wonderful establishment. The food was brilliant, hot when it should and cold when it was supposed to be. But, best of all, there was no music or musack making conversation possible without having to shout. Thoroughly recommended!

Just ate here for the second time and just can't speak highly enough of the food! Staff are so friendly and warm and the food is just so so good. Best pub roast I've ever had and really recommend the beer battered halloumi too!

The food is fantastic and the menu very tempting. I nearly always go for the fish option and this evening my sea bass was perfectly cooked and utterly delicious. I also highly recommend the raspberry posset as it was wonderful. I really like the staff and they just make the experience more special.
