We have always loved andy chang because it is the best Chinese food we found in lynchburg. since the pandemic we have only ordered takeout and never disappointed. they even stab holes in the take-out boxes, so our crispy bamboo fish remained crispy instead of sowing from the condensation. so delicious that it is worth whatever is waiting, it can be due to the nationwide shortage of work to have some quality Chinese food.
What a delicious authentic experience! this is not like the buffet experience they can use. this is a family restaurant, the authentic Chinese cuisine that is not americanized. they offer a lot of spicy dishes, but they also have very mild dishes. they have booster and high chairs for children. we went here on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty quiet what was nice. we sat at a table that had a beautiful view of a small pond. this seems like an older building with older bathrooms but above all everything in everything it was very nice and clean. it seems like a good place for many of our vegan friends to eat when they are in town.
It was as good as the old China, sad. it was okay, but gave him a 4 that 3 because of excellent service plus large portion sizes. the tee was tasteless. fried rice very good. We had sesame chicken and sesame beef both just fine. another one on our party had orange-hugging with s similar thought that had much better. also had the early roll, they don't offer eier roles. price approx. $13/Meal, including rice, early roll was extra $1/3.
Good mix of authentic Chinese and Americanized Chinese menu options. Tried the dried fried green beans, Dan Dan noodles, Shan city spicy fried chicken, and sweet and sour shrimp. Everything is tasty, just wish the spicier dishes were a little hotter though! Glad they offer imported (Tsingtao and Sapporo) beer. The dining area inside is a bit dated, but the food's good so that's what matters most.
