Blueridge catered my Daughter Madison’s wedding a few weeks ago . They did a fantastic job and the food was amazing ! I highly recommend them for any occasion !
Not the Blue Ridge in the strip mall with Food Lion, Crisp and Family General /Dollar. I ordered ribs a couple of months ago for family visiting from California. The ribs were dry, tough and seemed old. No one could eat them and we could not return them at that time. So embarrassing for us. No ambiance and no good ribs. We decided to take the ribs home for our last meal before they went back to CA and that was a mistake. On the other hand, the Blue Ridge at Timberlake has juicy and wonderful ribs and sides. It is the place to go! Do not confuse the two! And the people are really nice and accommodating at Timberlake. Unfortunately, we went to the closest one thinking they were the same. No comparison.
We’ll, I think I’ve tried every BBQ place in Lynchburg now and without a doubt Blue Ridge is the best. That Carolina Hot sauce is awesome!!!
First time guest on a weekday for lunch. Ordered a pulled pork plate and half rack of ribs. The pulled pork tasted water logged like it had been frozen and thawed. It was the worst pulled pork ever. My sides of baked beans and potato salad were great. The bbq sauces offered on the table were all sub par...but the side of sauce with the ribs was excellent. I wanted the beef brisket sandwich....but 4 oz of brisket for over $10 is $40 a pound when you can buy a pound for good brisket in Texas for $16 . So the prices are high here. The St Louis style ribs were below average. It was impossible to slice the ribs apart with the plastic knife they provide. I had to struggle to pull mine apart. Poorly seasoned. Will not be back. Summary disappointed.
