The only gluten free/dairy free options are the sorbets, which is something I'm not always in the mood for. I ended up not getting anything. My husband got the sugar free butter pecan, and it was very good! They also had a sugar free vanilla ice cream. My kids had milkshakes, cones, and a brownie sundae. The servings are HUGE! You even get a scoop of ice cream on top of the milk shake! Even though it was crowded, we were able to find a table. The line moved fast, and we got our orders quickly. This is a great place to take the family for a sweet treat! *edited to add: see the owner's comment! There are more gluten free flavors than I thought. I was just told wrong.
Can?t say enough good things about this ice cream shop. We?ve been going a long time and have never had anything but a pleasant experience. You may have to wait a couple minutes (they?re pretty much always busy) but the staff still does a great job. I don?t think they?re as expensive as other ice cream parlors I?ve been to, they seem pretty competitively priced and the portions are huge. The parking is a little tricky, especially when they?re busy.
Additionally, the service at this location is quite slow. It takes longer to get a milkshake here than it does for the pizza place next door to make a pizza. If there are just two people ahead of you in line, you could easily wait over 10 minutes to be served. In response to the owner's comments, I want to clarify that I wasn't trying to misstate anything in my review. I was simply told, "we don’t have chocolate syrup," which led me to reasonably assume that it meant they were out of it. I can understand how it might also mean that they don't stock it at all. However, I believe it’s fair to criticize a place for not offering the basic ingredients one would expect at a specialty ice cream shop. If I went to a steakhouse and they didn't have A1 sauce, I would certainly be dissatisfied with my experience. It's surprising that an ice cream shop wouldn’t have chocolate syrup—that's a fundamental item for any such establishment. I’m going to take my business to other restaurants and ice cream shops in town that can provide these basic accommodations. It’s hard to believe you don’t think chocolate syrup is a reasonable item to offer, given its commonality. Also, don't rely on the hours posted on Google. I've found this place closed even when it says it's open, which has been mentioned in other reviews. This is quite unprofessional.
Birthday Cake Ice Cream? Need I say more? This is, without a doubt, the best ice cream I've ever tasted. I usually avoid sugar, but I would travel across the whole country just for a scoop of this. It's absolutely mind-blowing, and I only had a taste! Wow!!! This ice cream deserves to be available in quarts and gallons all over the globe. One bite is pure bliss!!!
Friendly staff and delicious ice cream! My wife and I shared a sundae that was impressively large, and the highlight was that we didn’t run out of hot fudge. Unlike Dairy Queen sundaes that often skimp on the fudge, ours was generous enough to last throughout. Our friends enjoyed a cone and a banana split, which was quite massive!
