Papa Johns Pizza - Forest Grove

The owner is amazing and runs a fantastic family-operated pizza shop! The service and food are excellent! You have to try the Steak Cheese Papa Dia!!!

The quality of the food has definitely declined. When I received a delivery that had a black crust and pepperoni slices so thin they were nearly burnt, the manager kindly credited me for a replacement on my next order. However, about three months later, when I used that credit for a delivered pizza, the taste was terrible; the toppings were nearly non-existent, making it the worst pizza I've ever had. This was surprising since I have always considered Papa John's in Forest Grove to be excellent and my go-to choice for pizza. While the service remains outstanding, the food quality has diminished significantly, and I will now have to look for another pizza place. I understand that a bad experience can happen, but after this last pizza, with its poor taste and lack of toppings, I'm no longer interested in returning.

I had ordered my food around 5pm for pick up at 7:15 due to having a appointment from 5pm-7pm on 11/21/23. I checked my order online at 7pm to see if it was ready, my order stated it was ready at 5:15pm and and I realzied that my pickup time wasnt added when I paid.When I arrived at the pizza shop I explained the issue and apologized for the inconvenience.I was then told to not worry about it and they'd make it fresh for me (without me even asking! .I cant believe the wonderful customer service and amazing food. It only took 15 minutes and they had the food out to me. I can't thank them enough for assistanting with this miscommunication, I love papa johns!

I'm clearly don't take pics of my food as when I'm eating I'm eating not thinking. Oh God, I should take a picture of this for us people to look at... However, I do not recommend this place because the pizza sucks. It's way too expensive and I guess coming from Chicago you know what good pizza taste like and this is I wish I was a good pizza and that's the best it's ever gonna gonna get. I just think for the price oh my god just save up by a plane ticket and go to Chicago.
