Costa Coffee - Forest Heath

My daughter and I tried to have coffee at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2024. The cafe was not busy, with only 2 staff members present. Unfortunately, neither staff member acknowledged us and instead just talked to each other. They appeared grumpy and we stood waiting for nearly 5 minutes without any acknowledgement. We ultimately decided to leave. The lack of customer service was disgraceful. A simple smile and a "I will be with you in a moment" would have made all the difference. I do not plan to return to this cafe.

The staff is extremely helpful. A man with ginger hair took great care in making sure our drinks were of the highest quality.

I was sitting alone at a table playing on my phone after purchasing a coffee when a strange bearded Costa employee approached me and asked if I was recording the staff. I found this behavior to be odd, as many businesses, including Costa, record customers without their knowledge. I would appreciate if the area manager could reach out to me regarding this incident.

Took extra care to deal with my dietary needs, and made an effort to check up on me to make sure everything was done right. I felt very covid secure whilst there.
