Rumbles - Forest Heath

The chips were undercooked and hard. We ordered a large cod but received one medium piece and a quarter of another. We had to wait 20 minutes for the cod to cook and it was very greasy. We were not satisfied with the experience and will not be returning. The service was average with a rating of 2 out of 5. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was also rated 2 out of 5. This was a take-out meal for dinner and the price per person was between £10-£20.

We ordered 3 large portions of fish and chips, 2 large portions of sausage and chips, and 5 cans of soda for just under £50. The chips were fantastic – fresh, tasty, and fluffy. The cod was fried to order and everyone in our group enjoyed it. The kids especially loved the battered sausage. The person serving us was very pleasant. We sat at small tables outside on a nice sunny day and all had a great time with our traditional British chip shop meal. I highly recommend this place for lunch. The price per person is between £1-10 and the food, service, and atmosphere all received a perfect 5 rating.

Absolutely love this place. We order online most of the time and when we turn up they start wrapping it so it doesnt sweat in the wrapping. The people are amazing and are always polite and friendly. The food is top notch most of the time. Sometimes hit and miss with the chicken burgers other than that there is no complaints.
