Shipley Do-nuts - Forest Hill

The store advertises that it is open until 6pm which is actually false. The store claimed to have last verified this a week ago but this seems to be a common issue. Hopefully they will correct it at some point.

Lady was nice as usual. I just hadn't been here in a while and don't know how I feel about paying $1 per glazed donut. Prices have definitely gone up. Compared to the price of tamales. I can get a dozen authentic tamales for the same price.

I love Shipley that's why I came this morning. I didnt stay and didn't order because the lady filling the jelly donuts wasn't wearing gloves and the lady at the counter didn't see a problem with it.Be advised, those donuts you see and order may have been touched with bare hands...

Arrived at 0600 thinking I would get fresh donuts , the filled donuts were cold , hard and seemed like day old made yesterday. If I hadn’t been heading out of town I would have gladly returned !I travel all over for work and eat at Shipley often , by far the worst and not like any of the others .You would think if you arrive soon after opening you would receive warm fresh donuts . Not the case at this location in Ft worth .

Lacks consistency when it comes to the freshness of the donuts and kolaches. It didn't matter what day of the week I went the donuts were sometimes hard and the kolaches were cold with the bread having already harden.
