Tov-li Shawarma - Forest Hills

I usually don’t write reviews but people need to hear about this new shawarma spot on 108st. I hear that they make all their food in-house. I’ve never had a chicken shawarma this good! They had a soft opening today and it was packed! FINALLY shawarma worth eating in the hood! WELCOME HOME Tov-Li Shawarma!

I stopped by for dinner for the first time and was happy with my order! They have a wide variety of proteins, salads and many sauces to choose from. I liked the chimichurri sauce in particular, and the schnitzel was fresh and crunchy. The staff was great and I'll need to come back to try their sweet potato falafel!

The food here is excellent. I personally am a Shawarma lover. I don't know what spices they use here, but it's a tasteful pleasure. I've come twice since she opened, first time I got a mixed plate and the meat wasn't dry like most places, second time I had highly recommended a baby chicken plate. The portions are either not small, so you are most likely to get your monies worth. You also have a little space to take some friends to have a quick meal.
