The Royal Exchange - Forest of Dean

This restaurant is like a hidden gem. We came here to celebrate a special occasion and the service was very attentive. It's a lovely spot to enjoy a drink and unwind.

Eight of us went to dinner for our annual football committee dinner and it was absolutely perfect! The ambiance was beautiful, the food was wonderful, the service was excellent, and the attention to detail was impeccable. Our meals were pre-ordered and our table was marked with place cards so the waitstaff didn't even need to ask who ordered what. They were able to impressively navigate where people were sitting and what they had ordered. We had a lot of laughs and it really put us in the holiday spirit. We will definitely be back for Christmas dinner. Thank you to everyone at The Royal Willow.

I am not someone who usually checks places, but the lunch today in the royal exchange was absolutely wonderful. from the incredibly friendly and relaxed welcome, to the delicious food and excellent service; nothing was too much annoyed and everything was beyond and beyond the norm. thanks to the royal exchange team that they make a wet day very laborious and pleasant in the did.

We’ve enjoyed Sunday lunch a couple of times recently. Delicious roast beef, pork or lamb and home made dessert selection. Great atmosphere thanks to the welcoming, smiley, friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.
