Feedback gevenIn the past, I could always count on my local Chick-fil-A to deliver a great fast food experience, complete with excellent customer service. On Saturday evening at 5:30 p.m. (dinner time), I was craving a fresh chicken sandwich and waffle fries, so I decided to stop by. Given that it was peak dinner time, I expected a freshly made meal, especially since the drive-thru was busy. I opted to dine in after a long day of traveling. I placed my order for a combo number one—chicken sandwich, waffle fries, and a drink, which I substituted for a shake—bringing my total to $12. I've always been willing to pay a little more for a fast food meal because, in the past, the service was exceptional and the food was always worth it. However, when I received my food, the sandwich looked as if it had been sitting out all day, and the fries were cold. After taking a bite, I was disappointed to find that the sandwich also tasted stale. I really didn't want to be "that" customer, but having paid $12, I expected at least a fresh sandwich (and hot fries, who doesn’t enjoy that?). I politely asked the young lady at the counter if I could get a fresh sandwich. She was kind and understanding, assuring me she would take care of it. True to form, the service remained stellar. When I received the replacement sandwich, I took it back to the counter and requested a refund instead. The young lady was very apologetic and processed my refund without any issues or questions. I waited over 35 minutes for a carry-out order that I never received! I noticed several employees working diligently at the drive-through, and one young man was handing out orders when they finally came up. However, the young ladies at the front counter seemed too engrossed in their group conversations to pay any attention to the large number of customers waiting for their orders. The service was definitely not friendly at all. I strongly recommend going to a different location and avoiding this one entirely! This was the second time I had a poor experience here, and both times the inside of the restaurant was dirty!
Always a long wait but went at 8:35 last night. Took 37 minutes to finally make it to the front only for them to tell me my food was out. During my long journey to the front of the line I saw at least a dozen employees working there. Many seemed to bein disarray. This location used to be top notch 10 years ago and was amazing 20 years ago, now its a joke. Employees seem to noteven care.
The service at this location in the last two months is poor. I drive all the way to Mt Zion now. Something is always missing from my order. I don?t use the app anymore. I always need a refund because the food is not available. The app, for me, is thesecond best part of Chick besides my favorite foods.
On Thursday, November 17, 2022, I visited a restaurant in Forest Park and had an issue with my order once I got home. I want to emphasize that the customer service was excellent during my visit. However, when I reached out online regarding my concern, I was told that the manager would contact me within three business days. As of Saturday, December 3, 2022, I still have not received any communication from the manager. I tried following up through the online method again, but this time I didn't receive a response. It makes me wonder, at what point does customer service end? I understand that one customer's issue may not compete with the many others, but I expected better follow-up.
