It is far away (about 9 km) from the center of Formia, the next city. This location is part of Formia, but it is called Penitro. Your pizza is delicious and it is served by the cut and then weight. The Margherita, which is my favorite, is just delicious. The crust is simply so thin and crispy and the tomato sauce and mozzarella aroma discolor your odor so your palate to water before placing a bite in your mouth. This last time the Margherita costs 12 euros per kilogram, which I think is extremely reasonable. The other pizzas also, and it is expected that you choose small pieces of any type, especially the first time that you can enjoy there, so you can enjoy everything that is available. This place is something out of the way (on the old road that led from Formia to Cassino), but it is worth finding it.
Pizza Point is always on my list when I return to Formia. The quality of your pizza is superior. For Americans who are used to the famous and ubiquitous round pizza, this is not that. Pizza here is in rectangular plates... which are cut again to order and sell by weight; You can order a small piece or assortment of different pizzas according to your individual needs. Here you will not find Peperoni pizza as it is an American invention and in Italian Peperoni is not a salami, but a pepper. That said, the variety of pizzas you find available to be taken out (it is not a sitting pizzeria) is quite large. We ordered margherita, mushrooms, zucchini blossoms and another one that was a sort of selection of ingredients. Above and beyond the quality of the ingredients used, which in my assessment puts this pizzeria above the rest is the thin and crusty dough that is perfect. The staff is very friendly and willing to help with your decisions. I'll come back to Pizza Point next time I'm in Formia.
