A huge blessing For context, my wife and I just eloped and got married Monday, and had planned to splurge on what we knew was the best food in Fort Collins. Jake was our host, and he was outgoing, friendly and surprised us multiple times throughout the night by pouring us different fancy wines. He was very attentive to detail, and was informative about which meals I could and couldn't eat as a celiac. The dishes were perfect; we got the olives, mussels, and oysters to start and finished off with the lamb and trout dishes. The lamb was so tender and the trout melted like butter. As we were getting ready to pay, he came and told us that they had taken care of everything. The drinks, the appetizers, main dishes... everything. This must have been $200 worth of food, not counting tips! And to top that, as if that weren't enough, they refunded the $30 reservation fee to our card... I don't even know what to say. I'm still shocked by the generosity of the staff there; this place will always have a special place in our hearts and hopefully we can pay it forward on our future anniversaries here!To all the staff, the chefs, sous chef, and our host, thank you all so much, you really blessed us with your generosity and hard work. Love yall! Caleb and Grace
Wonderful dining experience from beginning to end.Ordered the peppers, peaches and burrata, trout, eton mess, and a few other things between us. Zero proof cocktails were ultra refreshing. The eton mess (strawberry, ice cream, meringue thing) is one of the best desserts I've ever tried, and I eat a lot of dessert. The entire wait staff was welcoming, helpful, and attentive.
Right when we walked in, I felt like I didn’t want to be there. Once we encountered our server I knew why, there was nothing enjoyable or welcoming in our interactions, We decided we didn’t want to spend time having a meal there and after buying one plate that we didn’t even want, we asked for our check and left. Our server hovered over me staring while I paid the bill, making me feel more uncomfortable than I ever had been in any restaurant. Without question the worst dining experience I have had in Fort Collins.
I had only heard good things about this place. My first visit here was very disappointing. I could only get a reservation at 5pm in the summer on a weekday… so we arrive a bit early 4:50pm and were greeted at the door. We were hustled in so quickly and that’s when the clock started ticking. Our waiter came over immediately and asked what we wanted to drink and listed everything on the menu in what only can be described as a SNL skit. No eye contact, filling waters, whirling around the table. It was so fast and was obviously rushing us. That was the theme of the night. Our drinks and appetizers were decent, but the incessant vibe of turning our table made us want to leave. (Exactly what they wanted). I get that your restaurant is legit “little” but I am a paying customer with a reservation too!! I ordered the lamb steaks which were so poorly cooked. One was over cooked and one was almost raw. I know I should have said something but I was just over it and wanted to leave. My sister and husband had a pasta dish and duck both which were good. We dropped $250 on this belated birthday dinner. To Little’s delight we were out the door by 6:15pm. It all around sucked.
