Rec Room - Fort Collins

Overall, it's a fun bar, but it can be risky. The last time I was there, someone handed me a beer as I was leaving, and it almost took a turn for the worse for me. It's definitely not a good idea to defend or promote a place where you could end up unconscious.

My friends and I were asked to leave the restaurant while I was discussing "our body language." We were minding our own business in a corner, and we hadn’t done anything to disturb anyone. There was no valid reason for us to be kicked out. We paid $13 to enter and had only been there for about 15 minutes before being asked to leave. None of us were intoxicated. While I understand that we might have been perceived as loud, the situation felt a bit overblown when we were asked to step outside.

The bouncers at this bar seem to ignore the actual patrons. During my recent visit, I was repeatedly harassed by someone who was just trying to get to a bouncer. I expected much better from the establishments in Fort Collins.

My friend couldn't come in because her license expired a few days ago on her birthday, and she had ordered a new one. None of the other bars said everything and the Bouncer here was a complete **** about it, although it was very polite. We'll never go back.

If you don't want to be groped by staff DO NOT COME HERE. My friends and I had troubles with the bouncers coming in, they harassed the guys in our group barely letting them in because they had black pants on. Once inside the floor was stickier than a child at Chuck E. Cheese. When it came to shots they were priced higher than a jet plane and us girls got extra which was cool at first until staff kept trying to feel us up. Our guys got served cola shots instead of alcohol and were all pretty sure we saw a few teens in there. If you want to party with a bunch of grabby meat heads and little girls this is the place for you
