Rio Grande - Ft. Collins - Fort Collins

I took my girlfriend on a date here and it was a blast. Our server was amazing and the food was great!

I have been coming to the Rio since 1981! When it was the little tiny place on College Ave and it is always where I like taking friends and family visiting from out of town. Which was the case on Saturday, my brother and his wife were visiting, first time in FC., her first time in CO! And MY first time ever being disappointed with the service! We got seated quite promptly, which was very nice! Hosting staff was great! Then after we got sat we literally waited about 8-10 min for water and chips, and then about another 7-10 for our server! Once he got there and took our drink order we waiting a long time for drinks to come as well. I kept telling my brother how its never like this! , I 've never waited this long.... ! and such. Lastly, we requested more water 3x and on the 3rd time we finally got it. Food was great...love the street tacos.

Was wonderful guy and atmosphere was PACKED inside hire more waiters

Food excellent but the noise level is a killer. Would give the restaurant 5 stars on everything if the noise level wasn't so out of control.

Always enjoy Rio and we did again this time. One thing that bothered us, we had made an opentable reservation. When we arrived at the restaurant the front desk person seemed puzzled about the reservation after I gave her the name but seated us and we had our usual good meal. I received a note from Opentable that the rio reported me as a no show on the reservation. It was cleared up that we did show, but the Rio needs to make sure they acknowledge reservations since I take showing up as a serious responsibility unless we cancel.
