The Lyric - Fort Collins

Such a great place to hang out with other locals. The artwork by locals themselves, the lights, decor, all unique. Break away from the restaurants and come chill out here. Catch a movie, live events, food and drink?.even a full bar! Friendly and safeplace for everyone. Had the fried chicken sandwich with fries and it was delicious! What an incredible atmosphere and terrific design! It's definitely a one of a kind theater and spot to be in general. Full of crazy cool things to see decor wise! The place is curated so well and almost more exciting than Meow Wolf for a smaller venue!

So much character! Will definitely keep returning. (Beware the creepy dolls????

I have never seen a theater like this. Such a cool hang out spot. Full of all the stuff that would make a first date a win. They had great photo ops, and live music, as well as a full menu and bar. The sculptures in the back are wonderful too, and like Isaid plenty of places to take photos of you and your friends or family. If I was a local this would be my standard date nightfor a first date. The only downside I saw was the couches in the theater are kinda low, and it was difficult for a big guy likeme, and an elderly person like my wife's grandma, to get out of the seat. But it isn't really a huge deal. I mean where elsehave you seen couches IN the theater. It was also really cool that it was smaller so there wasn't a huge crowd. We saw Elvis,and it was the perfect movie in the perfect theater.

I liked The Lyric more when it was at the previous location. I?ve given the new place dozens of chances, but I don?t think I?ll go there again. The only tolerable theater to be semi-comfortable space wise is ?The Big One? but even it fell short during mymost recent visit. It was so hot in there with no AC or even a fan. There was zero air flow and I was sticking to my seat. Itwas gross and definitely not fun. I had gotten a drink that needed a refill due to the heat. But when I went to get a refill(had money in hand), I was informed rather rudely that I?d have to stand in the enormous line of people getting tickets, food,and bar drinks. Each customer was taking at least five minutes apiece and I would have missed the whole movie had I waited. So Ijust went back parched and hot and miserably watched the rest of the movie that I had been looking forward to. Maybe let peoplerefill their own drinks or let people who have a quick request get helped so they don?t miss the movie. I feel like I wasted mymoney and it sucks because I love movies and The Lyric is the only place to see many of the indie and foreign ones. Oh well, Iguess I?ll just wait for them to come to streaming from now on.
