Maria's Gelato - Fort Langley

We wanted to go for gelato, but were unsure about their precautions for cross-contamination. We called ahead and informed them that our three-year-old has Celiac disease, and they assured us that their gelato is gluten-free (except for flavors with cookies or ladyfingers). They said they would use a clean scooper from a designated section to serve us. They offer gluten-free cones, but we noticed they were stored with regular cones. They seemed eager to understand our concerns, so hopefully they will improve their practices. We ordered a small cup for our child and they even provided a separate spoon in a small paper bag. They were very helpful and accommodating. They also mentioned they have a variety of baked goods, although we only tried the gelato. We will definitely return!

We will definitely be returning to this restaurant!

The gelato was delicious, however the service was very poor. My daughter and I were the only customers in the store, purchasing gelato for a friend's birthday. The staff were impolite, rushing us and appeared annoyed when we asked questions. When it came time to pay, they did not thank us and instead were whispering rudely to each other when I requested an extra spoon. My daughter and I left feeling angry and upset, as we were trying to support a local business during a slow time of year. If we hadn't traveled several kilometers to get there, we would have left without making a purchase. We do not plan to return.

Best gelato I have had...beats Italy. It's expensive but it's totally worth it. Treat yourself. You will be amazed.

Very good gelato and food!!. This is really good place for gelato and coffee, sandwiches. I think their gelato is the best in Fort Langley. If you visit Fort Langley, ypu must go there.
