Cafe Martorano - Fort Lauderdale

Inside gets loud after 10pm. But we expected that. We sat outside and it was perfect. We could hear the music but it was not overpowering. The perfect Saturday night. We will be back.

The atmosphere is awesome and the service was on point. Steve does an excellent job running this establishment. Always on my dining list.

Amazing place.. atmosphere was very cool as they played different kinds of music loud. Music that you can sing along to and dance in your seat too. Now the food was outstanding!! I had the meatball salad and pizza. Both were second to none and had a truly unique flavor profile. This is a must on any restaurant list that you might have. I would say the later the better as well because of the atmosphere shift. Goes up a level or 2 for sure.

First off, beware getting gift cards here, as they expire in 1 year. 2nd, go before 8:30 if you want to talk to each other, the music is so loud. 3rd, meatball app is ridiculously priced at $32 for 1 meatball. I don't mind the expense, but God, would it kill you to give 2 meatballs, it's not like they're gigantic. Having said that, had the best sea bass (on the menu) ever, cavatelli with escarole and sausage was amazing and overall food was great. Can't make any substitutions on any meal.

I couldn't get over how loud it was. I've been to quieter nightclubs. I couldn't even hear my daughter speaking to me and she was right across the table. Also, while I appreciate a good gangster movie, showing the guy getting his head squashed in a vice during dinner didn't really do it for me. It's ok, I probably wouldn't go back unless it was for some boisterous occasion where I didn't want to talk to anyone.
