Everything is made in an assembly line, which leads to significant cross-contamination. I noticed staff touching the serving spoons and handling meat frequently before using the same knife to cut my veggie burrito. Honestly, very little seemed fresh; everything had a pre-prepared feel to it, making it hard to enjoy the meal. If someone is just looking to avoid meat in their diet, this place might suit them, but for those who want to steer clear of any meat contamination, I would advise against eating here. I politely asked the staff behind the counter to change their gloves and properly handle my food, rather than letting it come into contact with meat that had spilled on the counter. Instead of a positive response, I felt embarrassed in front of others. I definitely wouldn’t return.
This place isn’t too bad. However, they don’t have sofritos, and they don’t offer tofu—at least not yet. They’ve recently taken speck out of the pinto beans, which is a change. The burrito itself is quite good. The downside is that the music is played so loud that they have to shout to be heard; it’s pretty ridiculous. I asked for a vegetarian burrito, and the next customer was asking about what kind of meat they wanted. Hello! Can anyone hear me? It’s impossible with the music blasting like that! Is this a nightclub or a restaurant? Unfortunately, about 4 out of 5 times, the nacho chips are stale. They make them in advance and let them sit in paper bags on the shelf until they’re needed. Strangely, this last time, the chips were fresh, which was a pleasant surprise! Overall, it’s a decent spot to grab a quick vegan burrito, as long as you can handle the noise.
Chipotle is always a dependable choice for delicious and satisfying food. The meals are tasty, affordable, and come in generous portions. They also offer vegetarian and vegan options, including a variety of vegetables and their sofritas.
Chipotle consistently provides delicious and satisfying meals. The food is tasty, affordable, and served in generous portions. They also offer vegetarian and vegan options, including plenty of vegetables and their sofritas.
Yes, they offer a meat substitute and rice and beans that are vegan, but their assembly line process leads to a lot of cross-contamination. Staff frequently touch serving utensils and their hands on the meat, then use the same knife to cut the Veggie Burrito. Very little is fresh; it all feels pre-packaged. The food is incredibly heavy. If you're just looking to avoid meat in your meal, this place could work for you. However, if you want to ensure your vegan food remains uncontaminated, I wouldn't recommend dining here. I politely asked the person behind the counter to change his gloves and handle my food separately, away from the spilled beef on the counter, but he responded defensively and embarrassed me in front of others. I would never go back.
