The location could be part of the charm or authenticity, but it is not what you expect to be attached to a gas station. The staff is nice. And if you go here, you won't regret it.
First, it is not in all Indian restaurant. It is bad experience with food in Florida. Menu says basmati rice for rice items when it comes to food, it is made from normal rice that is very fat and we have seen dead insects on our basmati rice Pulav. We've tried many restaurants in Florida, but this is the worst food we ate.
Landed in Florida hungry looking for a lunch spot. Passed it by twice because all we saw was a gas station. The great reviews made us look harder. Circled back around and found it. The people were very sweet and patient with us. Never did a Jamaican and Indian menu before but have had plenty of Indian food in our life. We did a blend of both worlds and the food was amazing...the rice, Chana Masala, curry chicken, all of the Jamaican food, garlic naan and plantains. Wish we could transplant this place in our state. Thank you for this wonderful meal!
Do not let the location or size of this small restaurant fool you... This place serves great taste in REAL Indian and Jamaica home cooking. They not only treat you like the family, but the care and attention to the detail she is placed in cooking her food by the sweet and hearty aroma of the well selected spices that marinate in the kitchen. Give yourself a leak and check out this place! P.s. The garlic naan is great!
Food is delicious... Reason they get only 4 stars is because they rastaman doesn't put enough meat in the container... You pay over $10. For a curry goat or stew beef and only get like a few pieces of meat... Aside from that the food is excellent... the staff is friendly... Try putting more meat in the container
