Fish Peddler East - Fort Lauderdale

We recently relocated to the east, and I mentioned to a friend how surprising it was to live so near the ocean yet struggle to find quality fresh seafood. He suggested we check out The Fish Peddler on Commercial, and I'm so glad he did! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by a friendly and attentive staff. The variety of seafood available was impressive, and the fish I chose was incredibly fresh. We'll never go back to grocery store seafood again! While the price per pound might be slightly higher, it’s absolutely worth every penny!

They offer a wide variety of fresh fish, along with prepared dishes and an extensive olive bar. What surprised me the most is that it's actually a small grocery store that also sells vegetables and packaged goods. I've realized that this can be my go-to spot for fish shopping. They even prepare the catch of the day for you to take home, ready to eat, and they offer party platters as well. The salmon I purchased was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious! I cooked it at home with one of the sauces I bought there. I will definitely be returning to buy seafood again!

This restaurant is a gem in South Florida. They offer an outstanding selection of the freshest seafood. The staff is always helpful, friendly, and genuinely eager to serve you. It's the best spot to enjoy stone crabs and key lime cake!

Everything about this place is amazing! You had great recommendations! We ended up with Stone Crab, Pompano, tuna, lake bass, lobster bisque, crabs Mac and cheese, shrimps and they have just decorated oysters for us! We had two more stations to make after we were out there and packed our whole food in ice! We live in Utah, who is a locked state, and I could eat in this place every day!
