Vito's Gourmet Pizza - Fort Lauderdale

The salads are absolutely amazing! The portions are generous, and the bread is delicious!

The customer service here is far below American standards—it’s quite disappointing! They always seem to be in a hurry, keep you on hold for ages, and the staff isn’t very friendly. Additionally, the cleanliness leaves much to be desired; the employees handle money and then proceed to prepare your pizza or add toppings without washing their hands! They also overcharge for toppings. If you request two different toppings, one for each half of the pizza, they will charge you full price for both instead of just half.

The pizza here is excellent—a refreshing alternative to all the chain restaurants. It really captures the vibe of a classic New York pizzeria, with a great selection of pizzas and toppings. This is definitely my favorite spot!

I can 't speak for the inside of the restaurant, I never made it inside. Don’t think I would ever eat inside there after the encounter I had with the staff. I was driving North bound on Federal Hwy and one of the delivery drivers that drives a golden/tan colored Galant was speed driving behind me. I guess he felt like I wasn’t driving fast enough to the red light ahead of us. He pulled up next to me and spit on the passenger side of my vehicle. My 7 year old son was in the passenger seat looking at him as he did it. Then he sped off not before I got his tag number. I saw him turn in to the parking lot. So I turned into the plaza at the next entrance a circled the lot looking for his car. By this point I was furious and my son was like, “Mom, why did he spit on the car? I couldn’t find his car as a last attempt I looked behind the building and seen his car there keys in it still running. Then another car pulled out and the driver got out carrying a pizza bag. After confronting him and the manager on staff not only did the driver call me a stupid f* $g b@ $h and said that I was lying and he continued to curse and scream at me in front of his manager and my son sitting in the car. I was told there was nothing she could do because she didn’t see it. So basically he is still employed driving around spitting who knows what else he has spit on. I hope you’re a good tipper he might spit on your car or anything else for that matter.

I get food from Vitos all the time and the driver with the gold/tan car always brings me my food FAST AND HOT he always says hello to my son when my son comes to the door. He is a really nice person I know he would never disrespect anyone. So Monica stop being such a hater and leave people alone. The food is great at Vitos.
