HH is until 7pm.The food was amazing. The meatballs are flavorful and I ate all the red sauce. The tzatziki is served with a warm pita. The mushroom pizza tasted like they made the crust. The staff was friendly and attentive. The music was at a low level so you could have a conversation.
If you’re looking for a bachelorette brunch, look no future. You have found an AMAZING place that really caters to that experience. If you’re looking for a party you have to go on SATURDAY. There is a TON of delicious food at a fixed price. The manager Diedre works incredibly hard making the experience memorable. The DJ is bumping (and took a few song requests), the music is plentiful (we were full before the second entree) and the alcohol was flowing. Plus if you want to dance on tables, it’s a great spot.
We went to dine at Ya Mas for the first time with a group of friends for a birthday celebration but the experience was really disappointing. Very poor planning as it is a small place but definitely understaffed for Saturday night. You can tell our server was working more tables that what he could actually handle and had very delay response time to customers. We waited a long time for the server to come and take our orders just for him to let us know that 60% of the entrees were sold out including all meats and fishes. Only option available was a couple of Pastas and a $70 Ribeye special. Very incomprehensible inventory miscalculation. After 1 hour of waiting to receive out food, we only got half of the plates and had to wait 10 more minutes for everybody to get their food. Hard to believe as we all order Pastas because it was the only thing available. Personally I was not looking forward to dinning in a greek restaurant and having Pasta. They did try to make up for all the inconveniences and gave us a complimentary very small key lime pie cup to sing happy birthday which would never feed a party of 6, maybe for a couple it would’ve made more sense. Unfortunate as we were all exited for last night
I recently visited Ya Mas for a Sunday brunch for the first time with a small group of women on August 13. Unfortunately our waiter wasn’t very attentive and the food was also very disappointing. Also they charge extra when you ask for more pita bread…. The portions were minimal and the Greek salad left a lot to be desired. I stopped by a week later to give some feedback and spoke to one of the managers to share our experience. He said he would let higher management know and someone would be in touch with me but I never heard from anyone. It could be a great spot with some minor changes but I will not be returning.
Thank goodness this place is gone what terrible management terrible food terrible everything it was a mess from the start. Totally rude service and a stupid manager. Good riddance.
