Ko-ko Chicken - Fort Lee

If you 're looking for fried chicken, Korean-style or otherwise, come here. The chicken here is just fantastic, hands down. Made fresh, not frozen, like the well known Korean Fried chains, and it really shows in the flavor. We ordered a mild soy glaze and the 'Koko 911 ' which is definitely spicy, but not overbearing for fans of heat. However, they 're a little on the messy side. Order the chips too. It 's BYOB, so don 't forget to bring a beer. 치맥! The venue is new, clean, and the staff is attentive, kind, and funny.

I was in the neighborhood and was hungry. I saw this little restaurant and I saw the Chinese food next to it. I first was set on the Chinese food, but ko-ko chicken looked very welcoming and incredibly clean. I made my way in and ordered a medium order of hot and spicy wings with a side of fries. The food came out quick and looked very appetizing. I ate a fry first it was great then I took a bite of the sweet and spicy wings. Instantly this had become my favorite wing ever. The food was amazing. Great service and even better food.

All I have to say is best fried chicken ever. The service was great and the whole place was extremely clean. It's very family friendly and has lot's of options. First time ever to try special chips freshly made topped with an amazing honey glaze that's not to sweet or sticky. (Ko-ko chicken)

I stopped by a few nights ago with some friends and we ordered the 911 wings, soy garlic wings, koko chips, cole slaw, and the buffalo chicken soup. I had a bit of everything and was impressed by the flavors and overall freshness. The standouts, however, were the koko chips which were drizzled with a honey butter sauce. I've never had anything like it. Combined with the ketchup powder they had on hand, the dish was pretty addicting. The staff was super friendly and attentive, as well. They chatted with us and let us pick whether we wanted to listen to the music or watch what was on the TV.

Had ordered delivery from one of my apps, I think Grubhub. Anyway, the chicken arrived moist and crispy and the sauces were excellent. The quality of the chicken was surprisingly good, I tend to like the smaller pieces but this is due in part to the batter masking the flavor of the chicken. I thought the preparation was exceptional and even the fries which were obviously freshly cut were very good. Unfortunately there was a drumstick that injured my gums when I bit into it as the bone inside was shatttered. Luckily the shard of bone that lodged under my gums came out a few days later. Yes it was actually that serious. Anyway, I will forgive them for this since the food was very good and I am okay now. 진짜 맛있었어
