Kuba - Fort Lee

A friend recommended this restaurant to us, so we decided to give it a try on a Friday night. Unfortunately, we do not recommend it at all. The smell of the bathroom on the second floor was quite unpleasant and noticeable. Initially, we were offered a table at the top of the stairs where there was a lot of foot traffic, but we declined and eventually were given another table after expressing that we would wait. However, after sitting for 15 minutes without being served, we brought it to the attention of the man who seated us. Even after waiting an additional 5 minutes, no server came to our table. We decided to leave at that point. The man admitted that it was his fault for being distracted. Our experience was disappointing, and we recommend not wasting your money at this restaurant.

We had a great time at Kuba, where we spent New Year's Eve surrounded by celebration. The food was delicious and the atmosphere, along with the music, enhanced our experience. The only downside was that we missed out on dessert because the kitchen had already closed. It would have been helpful to know earlier so we could have placed our order in time.

The food and service were excellent! I definitely recommend it! I?m from Indiana and always looking for fun places to do dinner and drinks at. I loved this place!! The vibe was great, service was amazing and food was so good! Fun night out : Very tasty Cuban food in a fun atmosphere. The tostones and ceviche were awesome. I'll definitely go back again...

I think this restaurant is okay. I ordered the appetizer sampler and the paella for two. The paella was very generous and was the perfect portion for two people. However, I was not impressed with the sampler. I felt that it was just average. The bao buns were cooked inconsistently, with one side crispy and the other soft. In my opinion, bao buns should be soft and fluffy all around. My favorite part of the meal was the piña colada. It was strong and flavorful, creamy and enjoyable. I would definitely return for the drinks!
